Victoria Beckham ignored her husband’s comments about their marriage being “hard work” as she enjoyed a relaxing spa break in Germany.

David Beckham claimed their marriage had become “complicated” over the years.

Speaking to Australia’s The Sunday Project, the ex-sportsman said: “When you've been married for the amount of time that we have, it's always hard work.

“It becomes a little more complicated.”

But Victoria appeared to brush off the comments as she enjoyed an “amazing experience” at luxury spa hotel Villa Stéphanie in Baden-Baden.

The fashion designer shared a selfie in the sun on Instagram as well as a video of her view from Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa.

She captioned the clip: “Beautiful Autumn day in Baden-Baden.”

David’s comments came weeks after the couple were forced to deny that they were planning to divorce, branding the claims a “crock of s***.”

Victoria later insisted she and David are “stronger together” and that talk of a split is “nonsense”.

Speaking to Vogue she said: “People have been making things up about our relationship for 20 years, so David and I are pretty used to ignoring the nonsense and just carrying on as normal.

“But these things have a wider effect on the people around us, and that’s unfair.”

David and Victoria tied the knot in 1999 at a lavish ceremony at Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland.

They have four children together: Brooklyn 19, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven.
